Ambec Laning Solutions
In the fast-paced world of packaging, efficient product distribution is essential. Ambec's Laners provide the ultimate solution for transitioning products from a single-file row to multiple lanes with exceptional speed and precision. Designed to enhance production flow, our laners ensure uninterrupted operation without the need for constant line speed adjustments or product interruptions.
Cobra Laner: Precision and Efficiency
The Cobra Laner is engineered with high-quality Allen-Bradley servo motors and crafted from durable stainless steel, offering both reliability and a polished appearance. Its design features a clear polycarbonate upper guarding and polished stainless steel lower guarding for optimal protection. The Cobra Laner is equipped with heavy-duty adjustable levelers, allowing for precise height adjustments of up to +/- 1½ inches. Safety is prioritized with four safety-interlocked sliding access doors, making maintenance both safe and convenient.
To facilitate smooth linear motion, the Cobra Laner utilizes belt-driven linear actuators, while stainless steel brackets securely connect the conveyor to the laner. Its flex rails are built with durable, low-maintenance machined nylon, ensuring longevity. Additionally, the hassle-free tool-less changeover process is facilitated by user-friendly manual ratchet handles, making adjustments quick and easy.
Viper Laner: Intelligent Product Distribution
The Ambec Viper Laner efficiently divides a single-file row of products for seamless downstream operations. When a gap between products is detected, the system engages product stops to momentarily halt the flow, allowing flex rails to shift and the product to be released into the new lane effortlessly. Made from high-quality stainless steel, the Viper Laner's flex rail actuator employs a reliable 1:2 laning mechanism via a rodless actuator with a linear bearing. The clear polycarbonate upper guarding and polished stainless steel lower guarding ensure safety and durability. Like the Cobra model, it features four safety-interlocked sliding access doors and promotes minimal maintenance thanks to its flexible rail design.
